On 10 and 11 December, the Madrid Audiovisual Cluster participated in the European Clusters Conference 2025, organised by the European Clusters Alliance, which brought together more than 100 representatives of the European cluster ecosystem in Madrid.
The meeting brought together cluster associations, sectoral organisations, representatives of the European Commission, as well as national, regional and international agents, consortia and other key players, with the aim of analysing the challenges and needs of the cluster ecosystem in Europe, sharing good practices and highlighting the collective achievements of recent years.
The Madrid Audiovisual Cluster would like to express its special thanks to Antonio Novo and the European Clusters Alliance for choosing Madrid as the venue for this edition, reinforcing the region’s position as a strategic hub for innovation, collaboration and industrial development at European level.
During the conference, the director of the Madrid Audiovisual Cluster participated in the programme as moderator of a panel dedicated to Transition Pathways, one of the priority areas of European industrial policy. The panel included Thomas Röhr, Secretary General of the European Automotive Cluster Network (EACN); Ramón García, Director General of CITET – Centre for Innovation in Logistics and Freight Transport; and Jorge López Conde, Deployment Chief Manager of the European Clusters Alliance – The New European Bauhaus.
This space for dialogue provided an opportunity to discuss how clusters are supporting industries in their green, digital and social transition processes, as well as their key role in implementing European strategies that promote competitiveness, innovation and sustainability.
The participation of the Madrid Audiovisual Cluster in the European Clusters Conference 2025 reinforces its commitment to international cooperation, shared learning and the integration of Madrid’s audiovisual sector into major European industrial development strategies.
