The Madrid Audiovisual Cluster participates in the event “Algo se cuece en Madrid” as part of the 71st edition of the San Sebastián Film Festival.

The Madrid Audiovisual Cluster participated in the event “Algo se cuece en Madrid” at the San Sebastián Film Festival, organized by the Community and the City Council of Madrid.

During the event, representatives from both administrations presented the support initiatives being developed by the City Council of Madrid and the Community of Madrid to foster the development of audiovisual projects in the region. In their speeches, they highlighted Madrid’s position as a major audiovisual production hub in Europe, the funding opportunities and grants promoted by both administrations, and the training, networking, and pitch programs being developed.

Representing the City Council of Madrid, Almudena Maíllo, the Councilor for Tourism, and Inmaculada Sánchez-Cervera, the General Coordinator of the Mayor’s Office, spoke. Representing the Community of Madrid, Gonzalo Cabrera, the Director-General for Cultural Promotion, participated.
